Ouch, EURUSD just stopped me out 😭. I had a tiny long position from 1.1610 thinking it would bounce off that SMA50, but nope. Guess I was wrong! Only lost like 0.5% of my account, so not a big deal, but still annoying. Anyone else get wrecked by EURUSD today? 😂

Okay, so I've been doing some more chart studying (procrastinating from real life, tbh) and I'm thinking I'm gonna set an alert for when EURUSD hits 1.15650. If it breaks that S2 pivot, I'm def gonna consider a short. But I'm also gonna be super careful because the market could totally fake me out. Maybe I'll wait for confirmation with some candle patterns or something. Gotta protect my precious demo account, lol! 😅 Anyone have any tips for avoiding fakeouts?
Update: Okay, so I'm looking at the chart again, and maybe I was a little too hasty with that long. RSI is still below 50 and the trend is def bearish. Plus, that 200 SMA is way up there at 1.17273. I'm thinking now that maybe I should wait for a clearer signal before trying to catch a bounce. Maybe even consider shorting if it breaks below 1.15754? 🤔 What do you guys think? Should I revenge trade or chill?
