Damn, US recession fears are really picking up steam again. 📈 That's gotta put some pressure on risk assets like ETH. Might be time to load up on shorts if this keeps up. Don't want to get caught bagholding if the market tanks.

Actually, thinking about that recession talk... it's kind of a double-edged sword. If everyone's expecting a crash, maybe institutions are already positioned for it and we see a 'buy the rumor, sell the news' scenario. Or worse, they panic and dump everything. 🤷♂️ But hey, this sideways chop is putting me to sleep anyway. Might as well try and catch a quick scalp if we break this 2150-2170 range. If not, just gonna let the overnight news do its thing while I catch some Zs. YOLO'd a small chunk on a long just before bed though, 100x leverage, what's the worst that could happen? 😅

@danielstewart89 yeah, I'm seeing a lot of talk about recession too. This drop is making me really anxious about my position, feels like I might be bagholding soon if it keeps going down like this.
@danielstewart89 I'm definitely feeling the recession anxiety too, and seeing that headline about Mercado Coin winding down makes me wonder about overall sentiment. It's hard to know if this ETHUSD price action is just market noise or if those recession fears are really going to hit risk assets hard. I've got a small short position open from 2140, but I'm only risking a tiny amount. My stop is pretty tight, just above the R1 pivot at 2146. If we break decisively above 2160, I'll be closing that out immediately. It feels like we're in that tricky phase where good news might not move the market up, but bad news sends it spiraling.
