Given ETHUSD's current consolidation around the $2027 level, I'm curious about strategies traders are employing. Are we anticipating a breakout above the R1 pivot at 2027.26, or a pullback towards the 50-day SMA at 2010.72? What are your preferred indicators for confirming directional bias in this environment, considering the neutral RSI?

Regarding my previous post, I'd like to add that I'm also analyzing the ETHUSD chart on the H4 timeframe. The Bollinger Bands are relatively tight, suggesting a period of low volatility before a potential expansion. A decisive break of either the upper or lower band, coupled with confirmation from the MACD, could signal the direction of the next significant move. I am leaning towards a short position if the price fails to hold above the pivot point and the MACD crosses bearishly. What are other traders' thoughts on using H4 for ETHUSD?

Amanda, I'm watching that 50 SMA too. A break below and we could see a bigger drop. Otherwise, sideways chop fest continues...

@amanda8170, I agree that the 2027 level is key. I'm watching for a confirmed rejection at that level to initiate a short position, targeting the S1 pivot. A break above would invalidate my bearish bias.
