XAUUSD Apr 9
Man, this XAUUSD chart is looking like a classic ascending wedge forming on the H4. Seeing a lot of consolidation here with higher lows and lower highs. If this breaks down, which I'm leaning towards given the geopolitical news cooling off, we could see a sharp move south. Definitely watching for that break below the lower trendline, might catch a nice bearish displacement there.

Actually, thinking about that wedge, the volume has been pretty anemic on these recent pushes higher. If we don't see some serious buying pressure soon, that breakdown could be fast and furious. The news about Iran fading is a big hint for me, no more risk-on sentiment driving gold up like crazy.
