Seriously though, the slippage I got on my last EURUSD scalp was ridiculous. I set my limit order at 1.1730, saw the wick spike, and thought 'gotcha', but nope. Executed at 1.1738! Like what even is that? I know the US session can be volatile, but that’s just blatant manipulation. Makes you wonder if the broker is just eating your profits on the side. And don't even get me started on the spread widening right when you're trying to get in or out. It’s like they’re actively trying to make us lose money. I swear I saw the bid price jump 10 pips in a second, and my order got filled way off. It’s infuriating. This is why I always go big with leverage, to try and outrun the spread, but even that is a gamble sometimes. They just make it so hard to catch a clean entry.
