Risk management is key, and I'm still figuring out the perfect balance. For me, it's about not risking more than 1% of my capital on any single trade, no matter how sure I feel. I also try to have a minimum R:R of 1:2, meaning my potential profit needs to be at least double my potential loss. If I can't find trades like that, I just sit on my hands. It’s tempting to FOMO in when you see big moves, but sticking to the plan has saved me from getting completely rekt more times than I can count. I also always trail my stop loss once a trade moves in my favor to lock in some gains, even if it means taking a smaller profit.

Honestly @ngozi94, your 1% rule and 1:2 R:R sounds like a recipe for missing out on the real gains. You call it risk management, I call it playing it too safe. If you ain't going full margin on a setup you believe in, with 100x leverage, you're just leaving money on the table. Today's XAUUSD move past 4840? I just YOLO'd my entire account on it. It's either lambo tonight or ramen for a month, but you gotta take those shots. What's the point of trading if you're not feeling that rush? This Iran news is pure fuel, and I'm riding it all the way. Forget 1%, think 100%! That's how you build a fortune, or lose it spectacularly, but at least you're alive.

Yo @angelicapadilla54 you get it! 1% rule is for noobs. If you ain't risking it all, what's the point? Gotta go full YOLO to see those insane gains. Playing it safe is boring!
