Hello fellow traders! I'm curious, how many of you rely solely on technical indicators like RSI and SMAs, and how many use a bit of 'gut feeling' too? Sometimes I feel like the charts are saying one thing, but my intuition is screaming another! For instance, the RSI is showing bearish signals right now but the price is consolidating. Is anyone else experiencing this disconnect with BTCUSD? Any tips on how to reconcile the two?

@folashade00, I feel you! Gut feeling versus the charts is a tough one. Sometimes I think the charts are just messing with us. 😂 Seriously though, I usually try to find a balance. Maybe use your gut feeling as a tie-breaker when the indicators are indecisive? Just a thought! 😊

Your gut feeling, honed by experience, can often alert you to things the charts might miss. For example, if news breaks that isn't reflected in the price yet, your 'gut' might tell you to act before the RSI or SMA catches up. However, always back up your intuition with solid risk management. Don't let emotions cloud your judgement entirely! It's a balancing act, tbh.

I hear ya @folashade00 on the gut feeling thing. tbh, I rely on indicators mostly but sometimes you just *feel* like it's gonna go one way or the other. It's probably just pattern recognition you don't even realize. I'm still learning all this, so who knows, maybe my gut is always wrong lol.
