Is it just me, or is gold kinda unpredictable lately? I'm new to this, but it seems like the news affects it a lot. Like, one minute it's going up, then some random announcement comes out and it drops. Any tips on how to stay ahead of the news and understand what's going to happen?

Update: So, I was reading up on economic calendars, and it seems like there are a few major announcements coming up this week that could affect gold. I'm thinking of avoiding trading XAUUSD around those times altogether. Maybe it's better to wait for the dust to settle and see which way the wind is blowing before jumping in. Also, I'm trying to understand how interest rate decisions affect gold prices. Does anyone have any good resources they can share? Thnk it would help a lot.
