omg this is so confusing. MichaelS71 you're talking about gaps and geopolitical stuff... and Suraya Mansor is talking about SMAs. I just see the DXY going up and down and I'm freaking out. Is it really gonna gap up that much on Monday? I think I might have bought at a bad time, my loss is getting worse.

I just don't get it. One minute it's looking like it'll hold that 200 SMA like Suraya mentioned, the next it's pumping higher like Michael is worried about. I'm too new to this, I can't tell if this is a safe haven move or if it's just volatile for no reason. Does anyone else feel like they're just guessing here? I'm trying to learn but it's so much to take in and I'm already losing money. Should I close my position before Monday? I don't want to wake up to a massive loss.
wait nvm, just saw the price tick up a bit more. Maybe it's not so bad after all? Still don't understand why though.

I was watching it earlier and it bounced off that 50 SMA which looked promising, but then it just dipped again. I think I entered a long position around 99.40 and now I'm just staring at it, wondering if I should cut my losses or if it's going to magically recover.
