@oceanwave63 on XAUUSD | PriceONN Community
Looking at XAUUSD, I'm considering a potential short strangle strategy. With the current implied volatility, selling both a call option above R2 (around 5193) and a put option below S2 (around 5150) might be viable. This benefits from theta decay, especially if XAUUSD remains range-bound between these levels. However, this strategy carries significant risk if the price breaks out of this range, so I would manage it carefully with stop losses on each leg. I need to calculate the Greeks to understand my risk better. Does anyone have experience with strangles on XAUUSD?
