Man, I was so sure gold was gonna tank after that Iran news yesterday, went all in short at 4670. Then bam, suddenly it's choppy and barely moved. Lost like 50% of my account on that. Lesson learned: don't let news dictate my entire position when the chart's already looking iffy.

So yeah, my account took a beating. But it's fine, whatever. It's all about the thrill, right? If you're not risking it all, what's the point? I saw Ryan talking about 4680 resistance and was like 'nah, we'll blow past that'. Guess I was wrong this time, lol. Anyway, gotta get some sleep before the real action starts tomorrow. Hopefully, I wake up rich, not broke.

Hey Olivia, I hear you on that. It's tough when you go all-in based on news and the market doesn't cooperate. I'm still pretty new to this and always get a bit nervous when there's big news like that Iran situation. I saw gold jump up again after that news too, and I was like 'wait, what happened to the drop?' My small position is still open and I'm just hoping it doesn't go too far against me. Maybe it's better to wait for a clearer signal from the price action itself instead of just the headlines. That's what I'm trying to do now, anyway. It's hard though when you see others making big moves.
