Actually, thinking more about it, that whole oil situation with Iran is still really worrying. If that Strait of Hormuz thing gets worse, gold could definitely gap up significantly on the open. I'm kind of hoping it does, because my long from 4700 is just sitting there doing nothing. But then again, the Fed statement yesterday was pretty hawkish, so that could put some downward pressure on gold if the dollar strengthens again. It's a real tug-of-war right now. I might just leave my position as is over the weekend and see what happens.

@leobell17 I agree the Iran situation adds a wild card, but technically XAUUSD looks pretty bearish right now, sitting below the 20 SMA. I'm not expecting a huge gap up unless something drastic changes.

@leobell17 You're talking about gaps and Monday, I'm already in a full margin long at 4570 right now, no waiting around! This Asian session is dead boring, need some excitement. Yeah, the oil news is a thing, but honestly, I'm not waiting for the open to start making moves. If gold wants to fly, I'll catch it. I reckon we'll see a bounce off these lower levels, smart money might be stepping in now. No way I'm shorting this near the S2 pivot like @jessicawhite84 mentioned, that's just asking to get rekt when it whips back up. Let's see if we can hit that 4600 level before the London boys even wake up.
