Ugh, I think I messed up big time. I bought gold around 4700 last night because everyone was talking about it going up. Now it's barely moving and I can't sleep thinking about it. Should I just cut my losses now before it drops more?

Seriously, I'm so worried about this overnight move. I saw it hit like 4713 earlier, and now it's barely budged. My friend told me to buy gold because of that copper news in Colombia, but gold isn't copper, right? I thought gold was supposed to be safe but this is crazy volatile. I'm just a beginner and this is way too much stress. Maybe it's the smart money buying? But why now? The news about Glencore betting on copper is interesting, but gold isn't copper. This volatility is just too much for me as a beginner. I thought gold would be easier.
