Watching the economic calendar for this week, the US inflation data is out on Wednesday, and that's going to be key for the Fed's next move. If it comes in hotter than expected, we could see further dollar strength, which would likely put bearish pressure on GBPUSD. Then Thursday we have UK GDP figures, which will be crucial for sentiment on the pound.

@archiegray29 I hear you on the inflation data. It's definitely the big one for Wednesday. If we get another hot CPI reading, I agree, the dollar could easily strengthen and that's usually bad news for GBPUSD, pushing it back down. I'm watching the chart action closely leading up to it. Right now, it looks bullish, especially with that RSI creeping up, but any hint of inflation worries could flip sentiment fast. We've been seeing some decent order block retests on the lower timeframes, so the smart money seems to be accumulating on the dips, but a strong dollar narrative would override that. We also need to consider what the BoE might say in response to that inflation print; sometimes they try to talk down the currency, other times they lean into it. Lots of moving parts here before that data release.
