Considering the news regarding the Middle East, I'm contemplating my strategy for Monday. Silver seems to be reacting as a safe haven. I'm thinking of opening a small long position at the open, but with a very tight stop loss, just in case the market sentiment shifts unexpectedly. Will be watching closely for any gap up or down. Need to consider the bollinger bands too.

Hmm, thinking about it more, maybe I'll wait for a clearer signal on Monday before committing. Better safe than sorry, eh?

Also wanted to add, I'm a bit concerned about the strength of the US Dollar. The NFP miss could weaken the dollar further, potentially pushing silver higher. However, I'm still cautious, as the situation in the Middle East is very fluid. It's all rather uncertain, isn't it? Still think a small position is the best approach.

@hRogers81 I agree with your sentiment about waiting for a clearer signal on Monday. Jumping in based solely on news headlines can be risky, especially with silver's volatility. The Middle East situation definitely adds uncertainty. I'd suggest monitoring the dollar index closely too; any further weakening could indeed push silver higher, but a sudden reversal could trigger a sharp sell-off. Perhaps wait for the first H4 candle to close before committing to a direction. A break above 84.65 might confirm bullish momentum, but always manage your risk.

@hRogers81 I agree with waiting for a Monday signal. Silver's been choppy lately. News-based trading can be risky, especially for us beginners. I'm watching those SMAs you mentioned too, especially the 200. If XAGUSD breaks above it, that could be a good sign to golong! But I'm also prepared for a dead cat bounce.
