Ugh, can't sleep and watching this USDJPY chart like a hawk 🦉. It's hovering around 158.90, feels so stuck. The London/NY overlap is usually wild, but today it's just... meh? 🤷♀️ Was hoping for some fireworks with the Middle East news, but it's not really affecting us much right now. So frustrating! 😩

And @NicoleWalker, I totally get what you mean about the bull trap fear. That 159.20-159.30 zone looks like a real sticky spot, and the 50 SMA is right there too, acting as resistance. Seeing the RSI at 34.8 makes me lean bearish too, like @ashley3235 mentioned. If we can't break that resistance, I might consider a small short position if it pulls back to around 159.00. But honestly, with all the global noise, I'm mostly just trying to stay safe and avoid getting caught in a fakeout. It feels like anything could happen. 😅

Wait, I just re-read that headline about oil prices going past $100 again 🔴. That's gotta have some impact eventually, right? Maybe it's just taking its sweet time to filter through to the yen. I'm still seeing that bearish RSI, but the price is holding near that S2 pivot. Confusing signals today. 😵💫
Hey @edavis379, yeah the inaction is a bit odd given the headlines. But sometimes these geopolitical swings take a couple of days to really filter into FX. Don't dismiss the oil news yet, could be a catalyst for Monday's open.
