XAUUSD Dec 19
XAUUSD is looking quite bullish! The price is currently above all key SMAs (20, 50, and 200), and RSI is showing strong momentum. I'm considering opening a long position, targeting the R1 pivot point around 3888.52. What are your thoughts on the current trend? Is anyone else seeing similar signals?

Update: I've entered a long position at 3886.33 with a tight stop loss just below the S1 pivot at 3883.03. Let's see how this plays out!

@wsmith182, your analysis aligns with my observations. The SMAs indeed suggest a bullish bias. However, I'm cautious about the RSI approaching overbought levels. A long position might be viable, but a tighter stop-loss order than usual might be prudent, given the potential for a short-term correction.
