Watching USDJPY closely here during this quiet Sydney session. I'm spotting what looks like a descending triangle pattern forming on the H1 chart, with resistance holding firm around 159.65 and the lower boundary getting tested near the 159.40 pivot. If that lower support breaks, we could see a sharp move down given the current oversold RSI.

Actually, after looking again, the volume is so thin right now it's hard to call it a true descending triangle. It's more like choppy sideways action. Might be better to wait for the Tokyo open or some news catalyst before committing to any direction based on patterns alone.
