Weekend is here. This XAGUSD close around 69.66 is a bit of a mixed signal for me. The Middle East tensions are still there, which usually means silver should be higher, but the dollar strengthened on Friday, pulling it back. I'm worried about a gap open on Monday if things escalate further over the weekend. Hope it doesn't open too far against my current position.

Reading Vikram's concern about the gap open is valid. I tend to over-fiddle with my stop-losses, often moving them too tight and getting stopped out on minor wiggles before the real move begins. It's a bad habit I'm trying to break.

I saw something about gold stocks getting hammered, but I'm not sure if that's affecting silver directly or if it's just general market jitters. For me, I'm just watching the price action. If it starts consolidating heavily or shows a big bearish candle on the H4, I might consider reducing my exposure before the weekend, just to be safe. Don't want to be caught with a massive loss if there's some unexpected geopolitical news over the weekend.

Hey @isabellafernandez65, you mentioned gold stocks getting hammered. I'm seeing a similar thing with silver right now. It's hovering around $73, but it feels weak. The 200 SMA is still above it at 71.92, which is concerning. I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing this as a potential setup for a drop? Like, is this just temporary consolidation before it slides further down, or is there something I'm missing? I keep looking at the charts and it just doesn't feel right for a rally. The dollar strength is also a big red flag for me right now. What are your thoughts on this?
