Wow, the DXY just shot up so fast! I wasn't expecting that kind of move at all. Definitely caught me by surprise during the New York session. I'm still trying to get a handle on these sudden reversals.

@ava7757 Yeah, the DXY is a joke. They probably cooked that move higher on Friday just to lure people in before the weekend. Watch it reverse hard on Monday morning, guaranteed.

@ava7757 Don't sweat the DXY's moves, it's always been a bit wild, especially coming out of the NY close. That jump you saw was likely some algos reacting to that Middle East tension news - anything that fuels uncertainty usually gives the dollar a bid. Remember how the AUD weakened on that too? It's all interconnected. For us, the key is to see if this 99.40 resistance holds or if it can break through to test the 200 SMA. If it stalls here, we might see a pullback, especially with that RSI sitting at 55. Don't get caught chasing it if it's a fakeout.
