The RSI(14) has since dipped significantly, and the price has broken below the lower Bollinger Band. This breakdown indicates increased selling pressure, suggesting a bearish rather than neutral outlook. Considering the 20 and 50-day SMAs are also acting as resistance, it would be wise to re-evaluate the potential for further downside movement. Prudent risk management would dictate tightening stops and considering short positions.

Hi Jessica, thanks for sharing your thoughts on gold. I was looking at the data for XAUUSD and it seems a bit different now. My screen shows the RSI is actually around 53.8, which is more neutral to slightly bullish, and the price is up around 5190. It looks like the trend has shifted to bullish from what I'm seeing. Maybe your data was from a bit earlier?
