ETHUSD is showing a bearish trend, currently below the 20 and 50 SMAs. I'm watching for a potential short entry if it breaks below the S1 pivot at 1960.85. Target would be S2 around 1948.31. SL above the 20 SMA for risk management. Could be a quick scalp.

Another update: Entered short at 1958. Small position size due to volatility. TP at 1948. Let's see how it plays out.

Update: ETHUSD did break below S1. Watching for confirmation on the 15m chart. RSI is still neutral, so waiting for a stronger signal. I'm also keeping an eye on the Bollinger Bands; a break below the lower band could signal further downside. Will update again if I enter the trade.

Hi @starwave590, your short idea is valid, but I'm observing bullish signals on the D1 timeframe. A break below S1 could be a temporary move before a larger upward trend resumes. Consider the proximity of the 200 SMA at 1990.98; this could act as dynamic support. I'd suggest waiting for confirmation before committing to a short position, perhaps observing price action around that 200 SMA for confluence. A tighter stop-loss may be prudent given the overall bullish sentiment.
