Blimey, this news about recession odds hitting 45% is a bit concerning, isn't it? You'd think with all that uncertainty floating around, BTCUSD would be tanking harder. It's holding up surprisingly well, or maybe it just hasn't caught up yet. Watching this closely now.

Actually, upon reflection, maybe the market's already priced in some of that recession risk. It's been a while since we heard those numbers get that high. And BTCUSD did drop quite a bit earlier this session, so perhaps that was the reaction. Now it seems to be consolidating, which is a bit odd given the headline. I'm still not entirely sure what to make of it. Could be a dead cat bounce, or maybe it's just gathering strength. Need more data points, I reckon.
