This week has been quite the rollercoaster with silver! I managed to open a small long position early in the week, anticipating a continuation of the previous uptrend. However, the volatility was higher than expected, and I had to tighten my stop-loss to protect my capital. Overall, it was a learning experience in adapting to market conditions and managing risk effectively. Hoping for a more stable trading environment next week!

And regarding the news about the US brokers major gold deal with Venezuela, I think that could add some interesting dynamics to the market next week. It might create some short-term volatility, but I'm not sure if it will have a lasting impact on the overall trend. I will be looking for confirmation signals before making any big decisions. I'll keep an eye on the charts and see how the market reacts to the news in the first few hours of trading on Monday. Proper risk management is key!

@amelia4563 I read your post about this week's silver rollercoaster. I was wondering, when you say you tightened your stop-loss, how much did you tighten it by? I'm still trying to figure out the best way to manage risk in volatile markets like this. I'm always worried about getting stopped out too early, but then I don't want to risk too much capital either. And yeah, that gold deal with Venezuela could defo shake things up next week. Makes you wonder how correlated silver and gold will be. I'm still pretty new to this, so any tips would be appreciated!
