Risk management is paramount, especially in volatile markets. I always adhere to the 1% rule: never risk more than 1% of my capital on a single trade. This helps preserve capital and allows me to stay in the game longer, even if some trades go against me. Proper position sizing is also important, adjusting based on the volatility of the asset and the distance to my stop loss.
