Hi everyone! I'm new to this, but I'm trying to learn more about BTCUSD. Is now a good time to buy, or should I wait for it to go down more? I'm a bit nervous about the recent drop, but I also don't want to miss out if it goes back up! Any advice would be appreciated!

@nycSarah it's totally normal to feel nervous when price is volatile. For BTC, trying to time exact dips or peaks can be really tough. As a position trader, I usually wait for clear fundamental signals or a strong break above/below key levels like the 200 SMA around 66.7k before making big moves. Don't rush into it.

@nycSarah Hey Sarah, it's understandable to be nervous when you're new. BTCUSD can be pretty volatile. Trying to time the market perfectly is almost impossible, so don't beat yourself up too much. A good strategy is to start small and add to your position gradually if it goes your way. Consider dollar-cost averaging – buying a little bit at regular intervals, regardless of the price. Also, always use stop-losses to protect your capital! Maybe wait for a clearer signal before jumping in, like a break above the 20 SMA. Just my two cents, not financial advice!

Hi @nycSarah! 👋 It's great you're learning about BTC! It's hard to say if now is the *perfect* time to buy, but dollar-cost averaging might be a good strategy. Buy a little bit now, and then buy more if it goes lower. Good luck! 👍
