I was watching the DXY overnight, hoping to catch a quick move up. I put on a small long trade around 100.00, thinking it might push higher. But it just stalled and then slowly drifted down. Ended up hitting my stop loss around 99.90. Not a big loss, but it's annoying when the market just sits there doing nothing!

Regarding your DXY trade, @KaranKapoor, it sounds like a classic case of a choppy market. My primary rule is to avoid entering trades when price action is directionless and volatility is low. I prefer to wait for clear breakouts or retests of significant levels before committing capital. Scalping in such conditions often leads to whipsaws and unnecessary stop-outs.
