Well, that was a rough day. I was watching gold and saw it drop below 4550 earlier. Based on some chatter about the dollar strengthening after that news about the US economy, I decided to short it around 4530. Figured it would go lower. It did, but not by much before it bounced a bit. My SL was at 4580, and it just got hit. Lost about 1.5% on that. So frustrating. Should have stayed out or waited for clearer signals instead of reacting to headlines.

@zainababdullahi Yeah, that 4530 short looked decent on paper when the dollar spiked, but gold's been so volatile lately, especially with this liquidity squeeze. I'm watching the 4417 S2 pivot. If that breaks, we're talking a serious dump, maybe even to 4300s. Personally, I've been looking for a 100x leverage long near 4400 – pure YOLO play, honestly. If it bounces from here, we could see a quick 500-pip scalp. But right now, it's anybody's guess. This choppy action is brutal for anything less than max leverage.
