This past week was a rollercoaster for my EURUSD positions. I managed to catch a nice little scalp on that early week dip, buying around the 1.1750s and selling near 1.1780. Then, I tried to get long near the R1 pivot on Friday, anticipating another push higher based on the general dollar weakness I'd been seeing. Unfortunately, that didn't quite play out as the price stalled and even dipped back a bit before the close. I ended up closing that long with a small loss, just to keep my capital safe over the weekend. It’s frustrating when a setup looks so clean technically, but news or sudden sentiment shifts can really throw a wrench in things. I'm still looking for that clear breakout above 1.1824, but until then, I'm just watching from the sidelines, really. The RSI on the daily chart is showing some bearish divergence too, which is making me a bit cautious about chasing any moves right now. Definitely need to be patient for the next clear signal. It’s all about managing risk and not getting caught in choppy action.
