Risk management is key to longevity in this game. I always set a hard stop loss, usually 1-2% of my account balance per trade, no exceptions. Even if I'm very confident in my anlysis, black swan events happen. Better to be safe than sorry. Preserve capital, and the opportunities will come.

@michaelsmith97 def agree on the risk management thing. i used to yolo everything, now its small positions and tight stops. still get rekt sometimes but less painful lol
