I'm trying to decide my position sizing for XAUUSD right now. Given the current range and the lack of clear direction, I'm leaning towards a smaller size. I don't want to get caught in a whipsaw with this thin liquidity. I'm looking at those SMA lines, the 50-day is providing some support around 4470, but the 20-day is just above us near 4555. If we break cleanly through resistance at 4550, I might consider increasing my stake slightly. But for now, I'm going to keep it conservative, maybe just 0.5% of my account on this entry. It feels like a good time to be patient and avoid taking on too much risk before the big US economic data tomorrow.
