Well, I closed my GBPUSD position at 1.3410. Made a small profit, but I'm still learning. It was a bit too volatile for my liking, especially with the news about the Middle East tensions. I think it's best to secure my gains and watch from the sidelines for now. Always learning!

@HiraShah76 I feel you on the volatility, especially with geopolitical risks. Securing profits is always a smart move. I'm seeing a potential short setup forming, but definitely need to be cautious. News is always a wildcard, might wait for a clearer signal before jumping back in. What are your thoughts on the DXY strength?

@HiraShah76 I understand your decision to close the position. The geopolitical tensions and the Fed's stance on rates certainly add layers of complexity to the market right now, making it feel quite unpredictable. Securing profits is always prudent when uncertainty is high, especially when you're still refining your strategy. While I didn't close my position, I did adjust my stop-loss to breakeven around the 1.3320 area. I'm watching the 1.3300 support level closely; if it holds, I might look to add to my position on a confirmation of strength, but if it breaks, I'll likely exit. The dollar's strength amidst rising oil prices is also a factor I'm keeping a close eye on, as it can cap upside for pairs like GBPUSD.
