What are your preferred methods for confirming EURUSD breakouts? I've been experimenting with volume analysis and candlestick patterns, but I'm looking for more reliable confirmation signals. Anyone have experience using the Ichimoku Cloud for this purpose? Keen to hear your thoughts.

Hi @jennifer3092, regarding confirming EURUSD breakouts, I'm still quite new to this, but I've been trying to correlate candlestick patterns with volume surges. It's been a bit hit-or-miss, to be honest. I haven't used the Ichimoku Cloud yet, but it's on my list to explore. Have you tried using Fibonacci retracement levels in conjunction with volume? I've read that can provide additional confirmation, but I'm still experimenting. Would be interested to hear more about your volume analysis techniques.
