Just entered a long position on GBPUSD at 1.3355. The RSI is pushing 70 but the price action is holding above the 200 SMA and R1. Looking for a move towards 1.3380, with a tight stop below 1.3340 in case this Fed news really impacts dollar strength overnight. Fingers crossed this holds.

Actually, I'm moving my stop loss up to 1.3350 now. The price is hovering around R1 and I don't want to give back too much if there's a sharp reversal before NY close. Still bullish on the short-term move, but gotta protect capital given the geopolitical oil shocks and the Fed's uncertainty.

@RaviC58 Good call on tightening that stop. With the dollar showing signs of strength despite the recent dip, and that RSI looking a bit overheated on Friday, it's smart to lock in some gains or at least reduce risk on an existing long.

@RaviC58 Good job tightening that stop. I saw that RSI number was getting pretty high earlier today, and with the dollar showing some resilience despite the recession fears, I was a bit wary of that R1 level holding. That UK inflation data coming out tomorrow could be a big mover too, could easily cause a reversal if it's hotter than expected. Smart to protect your gains.
