Hey @gamer420, interesting take on the weekly chart. I see what you mean about that close below 1.325 being a bit concerning, and the dollar news could definitely add pressure. But I'm kinda seeing a different correlation right now. With the USD easing a bit and GBPUSD pushing up, it feels like Cable is decoupling from the dollar's weakness a bit, at least in the short term. It's almost like the pound itself has some strength, maybe due to the UK economy showing resilience or something? I'm still a beginner so I might be missing something, but it's weird how correlated they usually are. Usually, if the dollar is dropping, GBPUSD should be flying, and it is, but maybe not as much as expected if the dollar was just the main driver. I'm just worried about getting caught in a dead cat bounce if it does drop next week like you're thinking. Hard to tell which way the smart money is leaning.

Hi @joshua_h86, I see your point about the dollar easing slightly but I'm not entirely convinced about a strong GBPUSD rally just yet. The overall trend still feels a bit heavy, and that 200-day SMA at 1.3335 is still a ways off. I'm more inclined to wait for a clearer signal, perhaps a solid bounce off the 1.3362 pivot point, before considering going long. For now, it looks like we're stuck in this choppy zone.
