I've been trying to learn more about hedging my silver positions lately. I read that using options can be a good way to protect against downside risk, but it seems so complicated! All those Greeks and strike prices... it's a lot to take in. I think I need to start with smaller positions and just paper trade for a while to get the hang of it.
One thing I've learned is that you can't be greedy. Take profits when you can, and don't let your winners turn into losers! It's so tempting to hold on hoping for more, but it's better to be safe than sorry. NFA of course, just my personal experience.

@aishwaryayoga Options can be intimidating! Start with covered calls, maybe? It's a simpler way to get started with options while you learn the ropes.

@aishwaryayoga Options are definitely a steep learning curve. I'd suggest starting with covered calls or even just paper trading to get a feel for the greeks. Don't rush into it, especially with silver's volatility. It's better to learn slowly than become a bag holder right away lol. See you monday!
