Anyone else trading XAGUSD using algo strategies? What's your experience been like with backtesting vs. live trading? I'm finding the slippage is killing my profits on some of the faster strategies 😭. Any tips on minimizing that?

@kumar6085 yeah slippage is a real killer especially on volatile pairs like XAGUSD. i've tried a few algos myself and always struggled with execution when things get fast. manual override is sometimes the only way to save a trade imo. maybe try adjusting your entry logic to anticipate those spikes a bit better?

Yo @kumar6085, that slippage issue sounds rough! I'm not doing algo trading yet, but I've heard some brokers are better than others for minimizing that kinda stuff. Might be worth lookin' into?

Hey @kumar6085, algo trading sounds complicated! I'm just starting out, so I'm still learning the basics. But slippage sounds like it would be a real pain. Have you tried adjusting your entry points or using limit orders instead of market orders? I read somewhere that can help reduce slippage. Also, maybe backtest with different brokers to see if some offer better execution. Good luck, mate!
