Been practicing scaling in and out of XAUUSD positions lately. I usually start with a smaller position, like 0.25%, then add if it moves in my favor, up to a max of 1%. If it goes against me, I'll cut it quickly around 0.5% loss. It's helped me manage risk better in this choppy market. Anyone else using similar strategies?

oh and another thing i've noticed is that patience is key with golddd. Sometimes it just consolidates for days before a big move. Gotta resist the urge to overtrade and just wait for your setup. Also watching those oil prices, is making me nervous. That could fuel another dollar rally and push gold down further.
