Update: Thinking about that long position, maybe waiting for a pullback would be smarter. If it dips back towards the 20 SMA around 96.94 that could be a decent entry point. Set a tight stop loss just in case, maybe around 96.85? I'm still not super confident in my analysis, so keeping the size small. Also wondering what everyone thinks about the longer term picture for the dollar index? Is this just a short squeeze or something more sustainable? Any thoughts?

Hey @AHarris27, I see what you mean about the DXY having more room to run. I'm a newbie too, but it seems like inflation worries aren't going anywhere anytime soon, so that could keep pushing the dollar up. I'm also thinking about a small long position, but like you said, nothing too risky. Maybe set a tight stop-loss just in case? I'm still trying to figure out how to do that properly! 😅 What kind of stop-loss are you thinking about?
