USDJPY looks like it's testing that S2 pivot support at 158.47. RSI is really oversold here, so I've moved my stop loss to breakeven on my long position. Can't sleep easy if it whipsaws overnight and takes me out for a small loss. Hoping for a bounce tomorrow.
Hi @WildFox41, I totally get the anxiety of holding a long overnight, especially with how USDJPY can be. Breakeven is a smart move to protect your capital. That S2 pivot at 158.47 is indeed a key level. While the RSI might be oversold, I'm a bit wary of jumping back in on JPY longs just yet. The global risk-off sentiment from that Trump speech and the AUD/USD tumble is a big red flag. Typically, when those geopolitical fears spike, the Yen tends to strengthen as a safe haven. So, even if it bounces off that pivot, I wouldn't be surprised if it runs into selling pressure again. I'm personally staying on the sidelines for USDJPY until the dust settles and we see clearer direction amidst all this news.
