ETHUSD Feb 16
Hi everyone! I'm new to scalping ETHUSD. I've noticed the price is below the 200 SMA right now. Also, the RSI(14) is showing bearish signals. Does this indicate a strong sell opportunity, or should I wait for more confirmation before entering a short position? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Update: I'm also looking at the Bollinger Bands. The price seems to be approaching the lower band around 1910.26. If it breaks that level, would that be a further confirmation of the downtrend? I'm trying to use multiple indicators for a more reliable signal. Still learning, so any insights are helpful!

@NaveedAnsari The RSI being bearish along with the price below the 200 SMA does suggest a potential short opportunity on ETHUSD, but waiting for confirmation is always a good idea. Look for a clear break and retest of a support level before entering. Also consider the overall market sentiment and correlation with BTC. good luck!

@NaveedAnsari Hey! I'm pretty new too, but from what I've read, waiting for confirmation is always a good idea. RSI being bearish is one thing, but maybe look at the Bollinger Bands too? I saw that the price is getting close to the lower band, which *might* mean it's oversold. But tbh, I'm still figuring this out myself lol. Good luck!
