Ugh, this weekend is dragginggg. I keep thinking about GBPUSD though. With all this geopolitical stuff, especially that oil price news, I have a bad feeling about the USD potentially getting stronger, which would push this pair down. I'm really worried about a big gap down on Monday morning. Hope it doesn't happen 😬

Hey @ddavis192, I hear you. The USD strength narrative is strong with that oil spike. But honestly, the dollar's safe-haven status seems shaky lately. Feels like it's being manipulated more than anything. Wouldn't be surprised if it gaps up or down wildly on Monday, dealers gonna deal.

I agree with @ddavis192 about the potential for USD strength. That news about oil prices and inflation is definitely giving the dollar a safe-haven bid. It makes me nervous about GBPUSD holding its ground. I'm definitely watching that 1.3250 support level closely now, feels like it could break under pressure.
