The close on Friday was rather uninspiring for GBPUSD, wasn't it? Barely any movement despite the news flow. It seems like the market is waiting for a more decisive catalyst. I'm curious to see if we'll get a gap open on Monday morning, and in which direction. Perhaps the weekend news will create some volatility.

@graceward85 I agree, the Friday close was indecisive. Feels like cable is waiting for some economic data to provide direction. A gap open is possible, but I'm not betting on it tbh. Too much uncertainty.
