Anyone else think the gold price is gonna be affected by what's happening in Ukraine? Seems like any more trouble there and everyone will be running to gold. Just trying to figure out if now is the time to buy in or wait for a dip. What do you guys reckon?

@harrygarcia13 tbh, the Ukraine situation is def affecting gold. It's a safe haven asset, so any geopolitical instability usually pushes the price up. It's hard to say if it's the perfect time to buy, but waiting for a dip might be risky, you could miss out on gains. Maybe dollar cost averaging could be a good strategy? Just a thought!

@harrygarcia13, that's a valid point about Ukraine! Geopolitical events definitely have an impact on gold prices, especially during times of uncertainty. Gold often acts as a safe haven asset. However, it's not always a guaranteed move. I'd suggest looking at the technicals alongside the news. Maybe wait for a confirmation of a breakout above a key resistance level, like the R1 pivot at 5167, before entering a long position. Also, consider your risk tolerance and set a stop-loss just in case! Good luck!
