Man, the spreads on USDJPY right now are just brutal. I'm looking at opening a small scalp long but the bid-ask is like 10 pips wide. How are you guys even trading this thinly traded asian session without getting absolutely hammered by commissions and slippage? I tried to enter a quick trade earlier and the price jumped like 5 ticks against me the second I clicked 'buy'. It's like the brokers know you're trying to scalp and they just make it impossible. Makes me want to just stick to major pairs during London or New York, even if they're more volatile.

@noahmorgan68 I hear you man, this session liquidity is trash. I just stick to waiting for London open if I want to trade USDJPY with decent conditions. Trying to scalp here is like playing roulette with terrible odds. If you absolutely have to trade, maybe try widening your SL and TP targets a bit more to compensate for the spread, but honestly, I'd just avoid it. Wait for better conditions, it's not worth the headache.
