This Sydney session is indeed quite dormant for ETHUSD. I spent about an hour reviewing some technical analysis videos from Coin Bureau, and they're also noting the low liquidity across most altcoins currently. It seems like we're in a holding pattern, likely awaiting clearer direction from major markets or perhaps some significant news catalyst.

Following up on that, the general consensus from those analyses is that while the overall crypto market sentiment has been boosted by Bitcoin's recent surge past $76k, ETHUSD itself isn't showing immediate explosive upside potential in these thin Asian hours. The RSI is holding around 60, which is bullish but not overextended, and the price action is just oscillating around the 50-period SMA at 2342. I'm looking for a clear break above the R1 pivot at 2364.79 with increased volume before considering any aggressive long positions. Otherwise, it might just be range trading until London opens.
