ETHUSD is exhibiting significant upward momentum, but caution is warranted given the overbought RSI. A period of consolidation may be imminent.

I agree with @emily1986 about the upward momentum in ETHUSD. However, I'm also concerned about the neutral RSI. It's not quite overbought, but it's not far off. A correction could happen quickly. I'm thinking of scaling into a short position if it hits R1 around 1981.15. Keeping a tight SL above R2 though. Need to be careful with leverage in this market. Volatility is high.

@emily1986 You mentioned consolidation might be coming. Do you think the recent dip changes that at all? The RSI isn't overbought anymore, so does that mean the downward pressure might continue for a bit? I'm trying to figure out if this is a good time to buy, but I'm worried about catching a falling knife. What price levels would make you more confident that a consolidation period is starting?
