Seriously though, the slippage on XAGUSD during NY overlap is insane. Just tried to enter a small scalp long near the 50 SMA and got filled almost 30 cents higher. And the spreads? Wider than my grandma's smile. Makes scalping almost impossible sometimes.

And it's not just slippage. I'm seeing huge wick formations on the 1m charts that just get eaten up by market orders seconds later. Feels like there's a lot of stop hunting going on. The R1 pivot at 80.21 is right there, but if they sweep those lows around 79.50 first, I'll be out. The 200 SMA is also sitting below the current price, which is interesting, but with this volatility, I'm not banking on it holding without a fight. Gotta be super patient with these entries today.

That comment about the dollar and oil pushing silver down was spot on – felt like that was driving price more than anything else, and the chart patterns were just noise. It's rough when you can’t even trust your entry price, makes you wonder if it’s even worth trying to scalp XAGUSD right now. Might be better to just wait for clearer trends or bigger moves, or stick to lower timeframe analysis when there’s less action.
