This Sydney session is so dead man, feels like watching paint dry. Gold's just hovering around 5000 like it can't make up its mind. Wish something would happen, but I guess that's the price of trading during low liquidity hours. Probably best to just stay out unless a clear move develops.

Yeah, I'm also watching that 5000 area closely, @eevans868. Honestly, this quiet market is making me a bit anxious about leaving a position open overnight. I might just set a tight SL and hope for the best, or maybe just close it and sleep. Feels like there's not much conviction either way right now, and the SMAs are all bunched up around 5010 which could act as resistance. It's that classic indecision phase, and without more volume, any breakout could be fake. I'm leaning towards closing my small long for the night, better safe than sorry when you're tired.

@IKing55 Seriously, this sideway movement is making me nervous too! I'm sitting on a small long position from around 4410, and this lack of action feels like it's just building up for a big drop. The price is stuck between the 50 SMA and that 4400 area. I keep checking my charts thinking something's gonna break out, but it's just... nothing. I'm tempted to set a tighter stop loss because honestly, leaving it open feels like I'm just inviting disaster. The news about inflation and potential rate hikes is really weighing on gold, I think. It's hard to stay optimistic when everything is pointing down. Maybe waiting for London to really kick in is the best bet. I just hope my small profit doesn't turn into another loss.
