I'm new to trading gold, and I'm trying to understand its role as a safe haven. With everything going on in the world, it seems like a good idea to have some exposure. But I'm also worried about the volatility. Is it really a safe investment, or is it just less risky than other options? How much of a portfolio should be allocated to gold? I'm thinking of starting with a small position, but I'm not sure what a reasonable percentage would be. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated!

@AngelaJones Gold can be volatile, but it's often seen as a hedge against inflation and uncertainty. Diversifying is key! Don't put all your eggs in one basket, and definitely do your research before investing.
